For over 30 years, I’ve shared my passion as a Wellness Coach, guiding others toward greater peace and well-being. My journey began at 16 with a profound experience that awakened my awareness of consciousness, body, emotions, mind, and spirit. This transformative moment led me to embrace Yoga, immersing myself in its study and practice. Daily sadhana and extended stays in ashrams in New York and India have deepened my inner exploration, shaping the teacher I am today. My greatest joy lies in helping others shift their awareness from suffering to a state of contentment and inner harmony.
II am an E-RYT 500 teacher with 23 years of experience teaching Anusara Yoga and Meditation. My teaching journey began in 2002, and since then, I’ve completed numerous Hatha Yoga teacher trainings across New York, Argentina, and India. I’ve had the privilege of studying with esteemed Anusara® teachers, including John Friend (founder of Anusara® Yoga), Jayendra Henley, Jordan Bloom, Susana Garcia, and BJ Galvan. Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in more than five intensive trainings, each focusing on the philosophy and alignment techniques of Hatha Yoga, accumulating over 500 hours of study. This dedication has earned me the third and highest level of certification offered by the Anusara School of Yoga: Anusara® Certified Teacher
"Anusara yoga is a nationally Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance. Anusara yoga certification is among the most professional and demanding in the industry of yoga teaching. All certified Anusara yoga teachers complete several years of study, go through multiple teacher training courses, and teach professionally for at least four years, before formally entering the certification process.”
Meditation
My meditation journey began in 1991, guided by my spiritual teacher from India within the Tantric Kashmir Shaivite tradition. Over the years, I’ve deepened my practice through the teachings of Sally Kempton and several Swamis, whose wisdom helped shape my understanding. More recently, my approach has been influenced by remarkable teachers such as Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Douglas Brooks (Rajanaka Tantra), Christopher Wallis, and Jonathan Foust (from the mindfulness tradition). Their insights continue to enrich my meditation practice and teaching.
Ayurveda Studies
Alongside yoga, I’ve been deeply drawn to its sister science, Ayurveda — a profound system of balancing the body and life by understanding the fundamental forces that govern our well-being. My exploration began in India in 2000, where I studied with Pankaj Naram, founder of Ayushakti, and experienced a month-long Panchakarma cleansing program. In 2008, I furthered my studies with Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute, immersing myself in the core principles of this ancient healing art. Additionally, the writings of Robert Svoboda and Georg A. Feuerstein have greatly influenced my understanding of Ayurveda and its integration with yoga.
Coaching Studies
To deepen my ability to support others, I pursued training in Ontological Coaching, earning a master’s degree from the Center for the Study of Professional Coaching in 2013 under the guidance of Ivonne Hidalgo, Aida Hidalgo Araujo, and Rainier. Seeking further tools for emotional and psychological well-being, I graduated in 2019 as an Accompanist in Bioneuroemotion® (BNE) — a method that merges scientific, philosophical, and humanistic disciplines to uncover the roots of emotional conflicts and promote lasting well-being.
